What is Panpacific Language Center?
Panpacific Language Center (PCL) is a newly established office that operates under the Office of International Linkages. It started to function on August 14, 2023, to promote language teaching, learning, and research.
Hence, it aims to:
- offer language programs to cater to the linguistic needs of both local and international students;
- provide micro-credential courses to address existing gaps in language teaching and learning;
- host conferences, symposia, and workshops to facilitate the exchange of ideas, research findings, and trends in language teaching and to promote indigenous and international languages;
- engage actively in linguistic research, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in international and local languages; and
- establish collaborations and partnerships with other learning institutions and industries to enhance language teaching learning and research.

Panpacific Language Center offers micro-credential courses
To promote language learning and language enhancement training, Panpacific Language Center (PCL) now offers micro-credential courses which are under the School of Knowledge Innovation and Lifelong Learning (SKILL) that was launched last September 9, 2023, at the Events Center. Micro-credentials are short certification courses that allow learners to learn new professional skills very quickly. After the completion of the courses, learners will receive badges and/or certificates that prove their acquired skills.
